Who will assist me with my Welfare-to-Work activities? You will be assigned a Job Specialist who will be your personal guide to the benefits and services of CalWORKs and Welfare-To-Work. Your Job Specialist can help you with the following: - Identify job openings and apply for jobs
- Get your resume updated and practice interview skills
- Enroll in a training or education program
- Obtain proper clothing and haircut for a job interview
- Refer you for supportive services, such as child care, transportation and counseling
