Immunization is a safe and effective way to help the body prevent or fight off certain diseases. Infants and toddlers need their shots at 2-4-6-12 and 15 months of age. Even if you are sure your child is up to date, check again! Contact your child's doctor or clinic to make sure your child's immunizations are up to date. Immunization helps children build natural defenses against these fourteen diseases:

Remember:
- Immunizations (shots) are available for children from birth through 18 years of age.
- Parent or legal guardian must be present.
- Bring all shot records with you.
- The Family Immunization Clinic (located on the first floor of the Fresno County Department of Community Health, 1221 Fulton Mall) serves clients from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on a walk-in basis and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment.
- Afternoon walk-in basis as staffing allows, please call (559) 445-3550 to schedule an appointment.
