Shots to protect against influenza are available beginning in the fall. Low-cost flu shots are provided by the Fresno County Immunization Program to seniors and other high risk groups, which put them at increased risk should they get influenza or pneumonia. Who Should Get A Flu Shot?
- Children between the ages of 6 to 59 months,
- Adults 50 years of age and older,
- Pregnant women,
- Children and adults with a high risk chronic medical condition,
- Children and adults who live or care for persons at high risk,
- Health care workers
