State hospitals provide the highest level of care and supervision to the consumer. They provide care for consumers who are unable to succeed at all other placements. Should a consumer require placement at a state hospital they will be unable to stay in Fresno County as there is no such facility in the area. Most of our consumers are placed at Napa State Hospital in Napa or Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk. However
