Schedule for Support Groups

The Peer Support and Recovery staff provides peer support services as well as the coordination of training, education and mentoring of individuals with a mental illness. Staff also provides volunteer advocates who work throughout the Department of Adult Services. Along with the consumer volunteer advocates, staff coordinate and facilitate forty (20) weekly support groups. The support groups are identified by the particular mental health problem or area of interest and include cultural and language specific groups. Support groups meet in various locations throughout Fresno County.
