Apollo is a 16-bed residential facility for mentally ill adults age 18-59. This short-term social rehabilitation program promotes a consumer-centered approach in an environment that encourages responsibility and self-reliance. Additionally, the program provides a smooth transition from an acute psychiatric setting to an independent unlocked residential care facility, and helps prevent regression to dependent living situations. Apollo involves consumers in daily living and therapeutic activities. Therapeutic services are closely supervised and highly structured using techniques that focus on symptom reduction.
