The Medication Services Team insures that consumers are receiving/taking their medications and reporting any side effects. Nursing staff also provides medication education. Nursing staff helps physicians administer drug treatment therapy and also manage the Medication Clinics.
Medication Clinic:
The medication clinic serves over 2000 consumers. Nursing staff verifies physicians' immunization orders and provides the necessary treatment. Medication education services are also provided at this time. Medication Services' staff also conduct off site visits to mental health clinics, nursing homes, and some patients homes in the rural areas of Sanger, Selma, Kingsburg, Reedly, Pinedale, and Orange Cove. Injection Services, medication education, and physical and mental health assessments are also conducted. |
